Holy wishes at the holy days from a holy city!
That is how "Santa, Santa, Santa", the newest performance by Sebastian Bieniek (B1EN1EK) also could be named.
But there is more to tell about it. With this performance Sebastian Bieniek shows that he is ending the year with a new beginning. Because "Santa, Santa, Santa" which took place at the St. Peter's Square (Vatican, Rome) on the 12.11.2017 - one of the holiest places of the christianity - and which topic is church critisism, is just the first performance of the "No Matter World Tour" the artist is starting with it. The next stop will be Athens in January 2018, so stay tuned :-)

"Many Faces Of Everything"
Sebastian Bieniek is a collector of those bizarre things that don’t seem to fit into the world. Those things that somehow find themselves somewhere on the brink of earth, where
nobody comes to claim them. That’s what he told me, but I had noticed it instantly.
As he quotes The Sacrifice (1986) this “Very boring Andrei Tarkovsky movie made in
Sweden”, Sebastian’s voice brightens up: “There’s this funny postman with a hobby
– he collects all kinds of strange things that don't fit in the world. I love it! I’d say that
my hobby is similar, I love to collect everything that has a ‘doppeldeutig’ in it.” In
order to understand what exactly ‘doppeldeutig’ means to one of the most influential
Berlin-based artists today, we have to set off on a journey with him. There might
not be anything waiting for you – no prize, no trophy, no treasure – yet, Sebastian is
uncontrollably positive: “There’s nothing to win!”
